At Fire Services of Idaho, we present Ansul CO₂ fire suppression systems. Carbon dioxide extinguishes a fire by reducing the oxygen content on the protected area below the point where it can support combustion. The agent can be stored in one or two different ways: high pressure cylinders and low pressure cylinders. With the extreme density that CO₂ has, it quickly and effectively permeates the protected hazard and supporesses the fire.

The unique properties of CO₂ allow it to have several ranges of special hazards to protect.

CO₂ is Non-damaging

When engineered and installed properly, CO₂ will not normally damage sensitive electronic equipment. There is also no residual clean-up associated with a discharge. The key is to properly ventilate the gas so it escapes into the atmosphere after the fire has been extinguished.
